Dr. Patrick Steiger has over 25 years of professional experience as a business IT specialist in the roles of agile business analyst, requirements engineer, usability engineer, project manager and coach for effective project management. He works closely with product owners and supports them methodically and conceptually. He is actively involved in the IREB and is a part-time lecturer for user-centered Requirements Engineering (MAS HCID) at the University of Applied Sciences OST.

He has been working as an agile requirements engineer since 2015 and supports his clients in establishing this discipline in the canon of agile approaches. The focus of his previous work was on IT project work in the above-mentioned roles in mostly large IT projects (> 2 million). He was able to acquire specialist knowledge and experience in the specialist areas of insurance sales processes, sales partner compensation, document management and CRM. He has specialist methodological knowledge in Requirements Engineering, UX, design thinking, product ownership and agile documentation. Patrick is active as a coach and lecturer on all of these topics.

Building and maintaining a positive working atmosphere is particularly important to him, as effective teamwork is always the key to success in larger projects. His experience from over a dozen projects, some of them very large, combined with his proven social skills, helps him to achieve this. Constructive contact with users, the specialist area and other stakeholders is very important to him.
