Good reasons for an alliance

The enormous importance of Requirements Engineering (RE) for the success of development projects is generally recognized. With a view to digitialization and AI, this importance is increasing. This makes it increasingly important to forge alliances between RE and adjacent or overlapping areas such as testing, UX design, software architecture, and digital design—to name just a few.

Alliances significantly strengthen the roles of everyone in the projects and thus improve the working basis of the development teams. Alliances promote uniform quality standards and best practices. Mutual recognition also opens up new training opportunities for both you and the IREB community.

Our alliance can build on the following aspects:

  • Recognition of certificates
  • Promotion of complementary disciplines
  • Strategic cooperation

The community also benefits

A successful community relies on professionalism, fast and high-quality exchange, standardized wording, and practicable guidelines for its field of work. These all unite the community in a way of working that leads to better results.

The main advantages of alliances for our communities are therefore:

  • Higher quality of teaching content and glossaries
  • Improved standards and practices
  • More expertise through significantly expanded networks
  • Simplified admission requirements through mutual recognition of certificates

Our alliances
