Since studying Biomedical Engineering, one thing has been clear to Franz Zehentner: without well-defined requirements, there can be no good results. Few fields illustrate this as clearly as medical technology, where precise requirements and their consistent implementation are crucial.
His professional career began with a major challenge: establishing a complete requirements management system compliant with the strict regulations of medical devices, audits, and certifications. Today, he is Process Owner for Requirements Engineering at Anton Paar, a globally operating company with more than 4,400 employees.
Franz has a particular interest in AI-supported analysis of requirements. As a member of the IREB Special Interest Group on AI, he shares his experience, gives talks at conferences, and discusses his projects and insights at meet-ups and online events.
