Dipl.-Ing. Simon Jiménez is an entrepreneur and software expert with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. He is involved in eight companies, most notably as Founder of ireo GmbH, where he drives the development of "storywi.se," an AI-powered solution for Requirements Engineering (RE). His mission is to utilize "Trustworthy AI" to make software requirements more precise, render offers comparable, and manage complex projects more efficiently.

He combines a strong technical background (Master of Science in Software Development-Business) with specialized skills in conflict management (Master of Arts in Mediation). For over 10 years, Simon has shared this expertise as a lecturer. Currently, he teaches Software Engineering, Requirements Engineering, and Cloud Computing at FH Campus 02, where he also conducts research in the RE field and supervises bachelor and master theses.

Simon is highly active in the international tech community, frequently speaking at conferences such as the WeAreDevelopers World Congress, Software Quality Days, REFSQ, and Modern RE. Furthermore, he enables local exchange as the founder of the Graz Requirements Engineering Meetup (GrazReq) and contributes to the IREB Special Interest Group on AI and is a part of the Program Committee of the Industry Innovation Track of REFSQ.

Outside of his professional life, Simon enjoys spending time with his cats and is an avid reader. He is also passionate about music, playing the piano and drums, or singing – whether in a band or at karaoke.
