Ana Moreira is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at NOVA University of Lisbon where she leads the Software Engineering team at the NOVA LINCS research laboratory.

Her main research topics are requirements engineering, architecture design, model-driven development, software quality, and sustainability engineering.

She was co-founder of pUML and Early Aspects, is or was a member of several journal editorial boards (e.g., TSE, SoSyM), and a member of the Steering Committee for MODELS, RE, AOSD/Modularity. She has been an organizer, PC member or PC Chair of numerous international conferences and workshops. Particularly, she was Conference co-Chair for the 25th IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE’17), and Program Committee co-Chair for the 29th IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE’21) and for the 30th International Working Conference on Requirements Engineering: Foundations for Software Quality (REFSQ’24).
