Prof. Dr. Camille Salinesi is full Professor of Computer Sciences at the University Paris1 Panthéon- Sorbonne where he exercises since 1999 at the Centre de Recherche en Informatique that he headed for 8 years. After a PhD Degree in software engineering at the University of Paris 6 Pierre and Marie Curie, Prof Salinesi developed an expertise in requirements engineering,

Prof Salinesi has worked on various software design issues such as goal oriented and scenario based requirements elicitation, business-IT alignment, security requirements, decision making and sustainability, software product lines and reuse, self-adaptive systems, innovation, blockchain-based architectures, privacy and trust, and legal compliance, or the interplay between artificial intelligence and requirements engineering. He is one of the creators of the Sorbonne Observatory of Artificial Intelligence.

Prof Salinesi was involved in many European funded research projects (under the FP IV, FP V and H2020) and is used to lead cooperative research projects with companies (such as Renault, Rexel, BNP Paribas).

Prof Salinesi has an extensive experience in teaching (requirements engineering, test, advanced databases, design, software product lines, enterprise resource planning systems, python and C++ programming), supervising PhD theses (25) and master theses (over 150). He has published more than 250 reviewed papers in peer reviewed International Journals and Conferences and has delivered over 25 keynote talks at scientific and professional seminars. Prof Salinesi has acted as General and PC Chair for several renowned international conferences (CAiSE, REFSQ, SPLC) and he was the organizer of the IEEE International Conference on Requirements Engineering in 2005. He is also editor of 5 Conference Proceedings, and member of the board of 12 International Journals.

At IREB, Prof Salinesi has acted for 2 mandates as Second Chair of the Executive Committee. He is now Full Member, member of the Editorial Board, and WG Member.
