B.Sc. in Physics, I work for over 30 years in IT, in the areas of Support, Development, Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Business Intelligence, Research & Development (R&D) and Innovation. My current role can be summarized as:

  • Head of ABRAMTI, a non-profit organization that, since 2006, is dedicated to the recognition and appreciation of the IT professional, encouraging and promoting the best techniques and practices of Requirements Engineering and Software Testing. ABRAMTI is licensed by IREB to conduct its exams in Brazilian Portuguese.

  • I am part of the working group responsible for translating the Syllabi and Glossary of IREB into Brazilian Portuguese.

  • Executive Director of BSTQB, the ISTQB Member Board in Brazil for certification in software testing, which since 2006 has certified more than 20,000 people in the area.

  • Member of ISTQB WG Glossary, team responsible for the development of ISTQB Standard Glossary of Terms Used in Software Testing. At BSTQB, I'm part of the group responsible for translating the ISTQB syllabi and glossary into Brazilian Portuguese.

  • As a technology enthusiast, and as a way to sow passion for technology in young people, I worked for years as an IT and robotics teacher for high school students. I coach and mentor my students' teams in national and international FIRST Robotics Competition.
