Johan Zandhuis

Johan is a senior consultant in the Software and IT area within the rail industry. He works for Ricardo Rail where he supports clients in the IT aspects of procurement of rolling stock and in software assurance services, promoting and building cooperation between contractors and IT suppliers. The themes 'business value and IT' and 'gaining grip on IT development and IT maintenance' are his main drivers. Requirements Engineering is core part of maintaining grip. Johan has deep knowledge of Software Development processes and requirements engineering, both in Systems Engineering and Agile environments, and risks related to outsourced development and software integration. Besides putting it into practice in his daily work, he lectures and publishes about these topics. Both within Ricardo and here clients Johan is a promotor of applying professional requirements engineering practices and from 2012 as member of the Dutch working group he has been supporting IREB in getting IREB materials available in Dutch.
